Sydney is set to experience a once-in-a-lifetime Armenian cultural extravaganza this August, when Zvartnots Dance Ensemble of Los Angeles visits to perform alongside the Hamazkaine Armenian Sydney Dance Company.

Over two nights, The Concourse in Chatswood will host concerts featuring the 40 young and skilled Armenian-American dancers along with their enthusiastic Armenian-Australian counterparts.

The Zvartnots Dance Ensemble was founded in 1989 by renowned choreographer Vartan Aghajanyan along with Armine Aghajanyan. The two will be joining the 40 dancers on the trip to Sydney.

Harmick Hacobian, chairman of the Hamazkaine Armenian Sydney Dance Company, said he expects the audience will be wowed by the performances they will witness on stage.

The Hamazkaine Armenian Sydney Dance Company at its 11^th year of operation is known for its ability to "put on a show" with powerful expression of cultural dance, inspiring music and vibrant costumes all driving from the nation’s long history of ethics and tradition.
