Sydney Mozart Society is a not-for-profit group run by volunteers, formed in 1959 and still dedicated to the promotion and performance of music by Mozart and by other great composers.  We focus most on the classical period but often include works from other periods.  Those composers have given us a treasure trove of works that still sound fresh and exciting today.

Each year the Society presents a season of chamber music concerts featuring Australia’s finest musicians and ensembles. The performance of great music by virtuoso musicians always brings new interpretations, new insights and new experiences for our audience members.

We offer our concerts at affordable prices so that as many people as possible can experience the joy of chamber music played by leading musicians.  We receive no external funding.
