Sydney Mozart Society: Frank Celata & Friends
Clarinettist Frank Celata has gathered six virtuosi with international careers as soloists, orchestral players and chamber musicians to perform a program that includes joyful, eloquent masterpieces. Mozart’s K 581 is a showpiece inspired by the artistry of his friend. The buoyant theme and nimble variations that open this concert were traditionally thought to be one of Weber’s similarly inspired works. Schubert’s beloved Trout bubbles with joy. The musicianship of top-class performers combined with the rapport of good friends will provide an exceptional experience.
