Internationally acclaimed British violinist Daniel Hope joins pianist Marie-Sophie Hauzel for a compelling recital at The Concourse.
For more than 35 years, Hope has been a leading presence on the international stage, known for his versatility, imaginative programming and distinctive artistry. An exclusive Deutsche Grammophon artist, he first came to prominence as the youngest member of the Beaux Arts Trio and has since built a career spanning over 400 chamber performances, alongside directing the Zurich Chamber Orchestra and New Century Chamber Orchestra.
This 75-minute Sydney recital features a vibrant program of Enescu, Fauré and Dvořák, alongside Mendelssohn and Elgar’s powerful Violin Sonata.
Performing on the rare 1742 “ex-Lipínski” Guarneri violin, Hope promises an evening of virtuosity, lyricism and refined musical insight.
