Synopsis

🔥 Step into the Chaos of Purgatory! 🎭

Get ready for a wild, historical, and hilariously unpredictable ride in Donald’s Inferno – an original theatrical event that takes satire to a whole new level!

Imagine this: Australian journalist William Donald (1875-1946), who advised China's President Chiang Kai-Shek during WWII, finds himself in the most unlikely place after his death – Purgatory. But instead of endless waiting, he’s got a job to do: host PCTV (Purgatorial Community Television)! 😲

His first task? Interview none other than Chiang himself! It’s a standard Purgatory gig – until Chairman Mao Zedong shows up uninvited, reigniting their old rivalry in an unexpected burst of chaos. Fists fly, insults are traded, and the two titans of 20th-century China try to “kill each other” – but guess what? They’re already dead! 😂

🔹 The Challenge: To settle their differences, Donald leads Mao and Chiang through a bizarre, deadly game of "Truth or Consequences," where their fates are decided based on their answers. And just when you think things can’t get weirder, a mysterious Guide (who happens to be the Ticketmaster of this bizarre underworld) enters the scene to stir things up even more.

As if that weren’t enough, Chiang and Mao’s wives—Madame Chiang Kai-Shek and Jiang Qing —enter the stage. Watch them challenge, confront, and even bond in a hilarious showdown that not only highlights their influence on history but also provides a sharp commentary on the roles of powerful women behind powerful men.

🔹 A Hilarious Cast of Characters: From Sidney Rittenberg, the American communist who spent 16 years in prison trying to prove his loyalty to Mao, to William Donald’s absurd journey through Purgatory, each character brings their own unique flavor of comedy. When Donald is tasked with interviewing Rittenberg, the sparks of absurdity fly, as two foreigners who served vastly different Chinese leaders reflect on their strange fates.

Don’t miss your chance to experience a one-of-a-kind comedy that mixes history, politics, and plenty of  twists. Donald's Inferno is an uproarious, brainy, and bold adventure through time and Purgatory itself.

🎫 Catch it live and prepare to laugh your way through the afterlife!
