The Space between the Stars on 26th May 2024 is the 21st annual charity concert of the NSW Doctors Orchestra, Musicus Medicus, conducted by Joanna Drimatis.


The concert will open with Ella Macens’ The Space between the Stars, followed by the Libertango Suite with acclaimed soloist and composer Daniel Rojas on piano. We will be joined by the Evolution Vocal Ensemble and Northmead CAPA High School Choirs, conducted by Natalie Gooneratne, in performances of The Phoenix, Bridge over Troubled Water, and James Henry’s The Ibis. The finale will be Bernstein's spectacular Westside Story Symphonic Dances.


Proceeds of the event will go to the Daniel Ferguson LGMD Foundation and the NSW Doctors Orchestra Instrumental Scholarship in the Sydney Eisteddfod. The NSW Doctors Orchestra is a registered charity organization comprised of volunteer doctors and medical students, and performs yearly concerts to support charities in medicine and the arts.
