Triple Bill 2026
Saturday 25 July 2026 | The Concourse, Chatswood
The Australian Youth Ballet presents an evening of classical and contemporary dance across three compelling works: the moonlit lakeside romance of Swan Lake Act II, the striking contemporary work Arafura Scarp, and Light Path — a world premiere choreographed by Paul Knobloch of The Australian Ballet.
Featuring special guest Senior Artists from The Australian Ballet, this one-night-only program brings together exquisite classical repertoire, powerful contemporary storytelling, and the next generation of Australian dance talent.
Arafura Scarp takes inspiration from the natural beauty and ruggedness of the Arafura Escarpment in northern Australia. The work evokes the grace of the coastal lowlands, the force of the escarpment, and the tension between strength and vulnerability within an untamed landscape.
Light Path, set to music by Bryce Dessner and Kronos Quartet from the album Aheym, explores the inner light within each dancer and the way personal radiance emerges, connects, and harmonises through movement, space, and time.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of dance, music, and artistry at The Concourse, Chatswood.
