The Australian Youth Ballet is proud to present Triple Bill 2026, an inspiring evening of classical and contemporary dance at The Concourse, Chatswood, on Saturday 25 July — one performance only.
The evening opens with Swan Lake Act II, the most beloved act of Tchaikovsky's masterpiece: a moonlit lakeside, a corps de ballet of swans, and one of the most iconic pas de deux in all of classical ballet.
Arafura Scarp follows — a work of striking contemporary power that shows the versatility and athleticism of the next generation of Australian dancers.
The night culminates in Light Path, a luminous world premiere created for this production by Paul Knobloch, Choreographer of The Australian Ballet.
We are honoured to be joined by two exceptional Special Guest Artists: Katherine Sonnekus, Senior Artist of The Australian Ballet — a proud alumna of the Tanya Pearson Academy, returning to the stage where her journey began — and Charles Dashwood, Leading Artist of West Australian Ballet, performing the alongside the dancers of the Tanya Pearson Academy.
From timeless classical beauty to bold new Australian choreography, this is an evening of artistry, music and dance not to be missed.
