The North Sydney Symphony Orchestra is bringing a spectacular new audio-visual symphonic work to Sydney!

“Cosmic Cycles: A Space Symphony” is a collaboration between composer Henry Dehlinger and NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center that features a fusion of music and video in seven multimedia works on the Sun, Earth, Moon, Planets, and Cosmos. This transformative project takes the audience on a captivating voyage through the universe, showcasing the beauty and power of the marriage between music and science.

Coupling a live performance of Dehlinger’s breathtaking score with extraordinary visuals produced by a team of multimedia producers at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center consisting of images processed from the Hubble and James Webb space telescopes, as well as hundreds of richly rendered 3D visualizations, animations and simulations, this concert will be an extraordinary and exciting event like no other.

The North Sydney Symphony Orchestra is excited to have secured the rights to this extraordinary work, and to present the Australian Premiere. This will be only the third time ever this piece has been performed live, following its World Premiere in the USA in 2023.
